In Austin, our branch employs both Junior Network Administrators and Senior Network Administrators. These employees are responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining computers, networks, and related hardware and software. They assist IT Technicians in preparing devices for end users and provide first and second level telephone support and problem resolution. They also identify and resolve computer system malfunctions and perform diagnostics of network issues. Additionally, they provide support to the IT team and offer remote IT support using remote control software. The hardware they support includes servers from Dell and Cisco, desktops and laptops from Lenovo and Dell, HP printers, various copiers, and Cisco network equipment. They provide technical support for network, PC, and software issues to users and troubleshoot common network problems. They also assist in server maintenance and help with the administration and maintenance of IP-based telephony systems. Both Junior and Senior Network Administrators have other responsibilities as assigned and ensure company standards, policies, and procedures are followed.
