What will you do as a Project Cost Analyst at our IES Communications' Houston Branch?

Our branch in Houston employs Project Cost Analysts, Project Cost Analyst Managers, and Project Cost Supervisors. The Project Cost Analysts are responsible for planning, managing, and monitoring project profitability. They work closely with project accounting to ensure accurate cost posting and manage all project cost accounting. Additionally, they prepare budget and financial forecasts, research technical accounting issues, and collaborate with project personnel for required project reporting. The Project Cost Analyst Managers have similar responsibilities but also oversee the recruitment, training, and management of staff, as well as provide guidance and mentoring. The Project Cost Supervisors supervise a team of 1-2 Project Cost Analysts and assist in creating and revising job audit processes. They also attend review meetings, implement underbilling reduction strategies, and ensure compliance with job cost, billing, and change orders.
