What duties do our Warehouse employees do at our IES Communications' Houston Branch?
Our branch in Houston is currently seeking a Fabrication Warehouse Manager who will be responsible for managing the P&L, forecasting and managing staffing needs, developing and managing internal orders, ensuring safety and quality in the warehouse, and coordinating deliverables with Operation teams. They will also be responsible for developing a VDC program and managing installation schedules, tooling, and inventory. Additionally, we are looking for a Materials Operation Specialist who will be responsible for packaging, labeling, and tagging warehouse inventory, conducting inventory counts, and managing daily logs. They will also be responsible for maintaining warehouse quality, operating forklifts and company vehicles, and working in accordance with 5S organization and Lean principles. Our Warehouse Assistant will have similar responsibilities to the Materials Operation Specialist, including packaging, labeling, and tagging inventory, conducting inventory counts, and maintaining warehouse quality.
