What duties do our Warehouse employees do at our IES Communications' San Antonio Branch?
As employees of our branch in San Antonio, the Fabrication Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing the profit and loss of the warehouse, forecasting and managing staffing needs, and overseeing internal orders, safety, quality, and tooling requirements. They also develop a CAD/BIM program to support installation needs, manage installation schedules, and maintain tooling and inventory management. Additionally, they coordinate deliverables with operation teams and develop a national logistical delivery plan. The Materials Operation Specialist is responsible for packaging, labeling, and tagging warehouse inventory, as well as completing daily activities such as receiving, shipping, stocking, auditing, and issuing materials. They conduct cycle-counts, maintain the inventory database, and ensure proper handling of goods. The Warehouse Assistant assists with similar tasks and responsibilities as the Materials Operation Specialist, including operating forklifts and company vehicles, maintaining warehouse quality, and following 5S organization and Lean principles.
