What duties do our Pre-Construction employees do at our IES Communications' Provo Branch?
Our branch in Provo employs a team of Pre-Construction Compliance Specialists, Pre-Construction Managers, and Lead Designers. The Pre-Construction Compliance Specialists are responsible for developing programs for continuous improvement and tracking of fade/gain in projects. They conduct research on estimates and projects with business case concerns, and create root cause analyses to recommend corrective solutions. They also provide project management on special projects and develop reporting metrics using custom-built tracking systems. The Pre-Construction Managers oversee the workflow within the estimating department, mentor and provide direction to estimators and designers, and develop process improvements. They also recruit, train, and manage estimating staff, and participate in management meetings. The Lead Designers manage the workflow within their design and estimating team, mentor team members, and collaborate with clients and other design disciplines. They provide expert leadership, manage design schedules, and ensure the quality and accuracy of system designs and cost estimates. They also assist the sales department, monitor project costs, and provide technical support and training.
