What will you do as a Safety Trainer at our IES Communications' Provo Branch?
Our Provo branch is looking for Safety Trainers and Program Coordinators who fully support all IES safety policies, procedures, programs, and federal and state standards. These employees will develop and provide safety training that is trade-related and deliver training in the classroom, including hands-on demonstrations, class outlines, presentations, handouts, tests, and design exercises. They will also identify internal and external training programs to address competency gaps, track and report on training outcomes, and conduct training classes using computer and virtual classrooms, webinars, and other methods as required. Additionally, they will ensure a safe and pleasant learning environment for staff/students, deliver and coordinate safety training for management and field personnel, and prepare written reports and summaries to provide concise, meaningful information regarding safety audits, investigations, and issues.
