What will you do as a Security Systems Field Engineer at our IES Communications' Provo Branch?
As a Security Systems Field Engineer in Provo, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment problems in a senior service support role. This includes testing, troubleshooting of system components and functions, and field verification of connections, labels, installation, and work quality. You will need to understand advanced system drawings, specifications, and technical manuals, as well as be able to create shop drawings and submittals for new project kick-off. You will manage the technical work in the field with little supervision and work both "in house" and in the field when required. Additionally, you will assume ownership of project installation, provide support to field staff and project manager, assist with maintaining and completing project punch-list for project close outs, oversee the technical aspects of projects, perform quality-checks on the projects, test all equipment and functionality, create punch lists, and assist sales staff as needed with product and system demonstrations. Other responsibilities may also be assigned.
