In our Salt Lake City branch, the Accountant is tasked with maintaining financial records in strict compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and our company policies, preparing journal entries, reconciling fixed assets, establishing inventory processes for these assets, and handling prepaid expenses among other duties. They also play a key role in resolving accounting discrepancies, interfacing with auditors, managing workloads efficiently, and ensuring project-related financial documentation and safety issues are accurately reported and analyzed. The Accounting Systems Specialist focuses on handling travel account entries, documenting transactions, maintaining accounting controls, supporting auditors, administering company credit cards, and overseeing fleet administration. This role also involves staying compliant with tax laws, managing customer tax exemptions, preparing pre-liens, waivers, bonds, and COIs, supporting document control, conducting vendor audits, reviewing invoices, and performing reporting audits to ensure accuracy and delivery to our customers. Both positions require a high level of confidentiality, independence, multitasking ability, and commitment to improving processes within our team here in Salt Lake City.
