What will you do as a Contract Admin at our IES Communications' Salt Lake City Branch?

At our Salt Lake City branch, the Contract Admin Supervisor and Contract Administrator Manager roles embody critical responsibilities pivotal to the seamless operation of our IES team. These positions focus on daily leadership and support for our Contract Admin/Doc Control staff, driving continuous improvement across departmental processing functions. Both roles actively collaborate with Human Resources to oversee the lifecycle of employee management—from recruitment and training to performance evaluation and potential disciplinary actions—always aligning with company policies. They serve as primary points of contact for all contract administration issues within local IES business units, ensuring not only policy compliance but also fostering positive relationships with clients and other stakeholders. Additionally, they are tasked with managing a variety of processes including job package reviews, tax implementations on job setups, preliminary lien notices, change orders, and contractor project files maintenance. Their expertise extends to understanding sales/use laws relevant to our operations, recommending process enhancements, and maintaining comprehensive knowledge databases for internal distribution.
