At our Dulles branch, we're proud of the dedicated team that encompasses our Data Center Technicians across all levels. Starting with Level I technicians, who are the backbone of daily operations through their direct support in completing scheduled data center moves, adds, and changes (MACs), to Level II technicians who elevate these tasks with a deeper engagement in hardware support work orders and smart-hands assistance across various sites. Both roles emphasize the importance of maintaining a safe and secure operating environment, detailed documentation, asset management, and adherence to site security protocols.
As we progress to our more seasoned Level III technicians, there's a notable shift towards leveraging advanced knowledge in server and network hardware, as well as infrastructure management tools, which is crucial for implementing equipment and material receiving, shipping, and RMA support. This level introduces an enhanced focus on process improvements and contributing directly to both standard and emergency operating procedures.
Our Lead Data Center Technician role encapsulates the essence of leadership within the technical realm, coordinating all scheduled MACs while ensuring compliance with industry standards such as ISO 27001 / 9001 and TIA/EIA-942 certifications.
