What will you do as a Network Administrator at our IES Communications' Fairfax Branch?
Our branch in Fairfax is seeking both a Junior Network Administrator and a Senior Network Administrator to join our team. As Junior Network Administrators, our employees will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining computers, networks, and related hardware and software. They will assist IT Technicians in preparing devices for end users and provide first and second level telephone support and problem resolution. Additionally, they will identify and resolve computer system malfunctions and operations problems, perform diagnostics of network issues, and provide support to the IT team. They will also provide remote IT support using remote control software and support various hardware including servers, desktops, laptops, printers, copiers, and network equipment. Their responsibilities will also include providing users with network, PC, and software technical support, performing network troubleshooting, and assisting with the administration and maintenance of IP based telephony systems. As Senior Network Administrators, our employees will have similar responsibilities but will also ensure that company standards, policies, and procedures are being followed.
