What will you do as a Safety Manager at our IES Communications' Fairfax Branch?
As our employees in Fairfax, the Division Safety Manager, Regional Safety Manager, and Safety Manager are responsible for fully supporting all IES and Client and Site safety policies, procedures, and programs, as well as Federal and State Standards. They work with all levels of supervision and management to assure compliance with safety policies and conduct training and presentations as required. They schedule and perform documented frequent jobsite inspections, develop safety action plans, and maintain communication to ensure all employees are well-informed. Additionally, they prepare written reports and summaries to provide concise, meaningful information regarding safety audits, investigations, and issues, and participate in OSHA or CAL/OSHA inspection processes as defined in the IES Safety Manual Section 18. They also teach, counsel, and mentor all stakeholders to uphold the IES Safety Culture and have other responsibilities as assigned.
