In Virginia, our Infrastructure Technicians and Lead Infrastructure Technician roles are pivotal in ensuring the seamless execution of electrical and systems installations across various projects. Our team members are skilled in measuring, cutting, bending, threading, assembling, and installing electrical conduit using a range of tools including rules, conduit benders, Chicago Benders, and Dual trigger bandsaws. They take pride in building closets, mounting and installing backboards, and ensuring proper grounding for racks, equipment, and cable as required. Observing installed equipment or systems to identify hazards or needs for adjustments is part of their expertise. They possess the ability to fabricate and install different types of conduits like rigid & aluminum, E.M.T., plasti-bond, and P.V.C., utilizing mechanical and hydraulic benders. Installing various types of raceway and cable tray systems also falls within their scope of work. At every level, from Infrastructure Technician to Lead Infrastructure Technician, responsibility for crew performance, project coordination, training, and adherence to quality and safety standards is paramount. Completing all IES paperwork accurately and on time, participating in company, customer, and industry quality and safety standards, and assuming additional responsibilities as assigned are fundamental aspects of these roles. The Lead Infrastructure Technician, specifically, takes on a more significant role by running major project crews, ensuring compliance with project budgets, performing quality checks, preparing red-lined as-built drawings, serving as the main on-site customer contact, and troubleshooting technical issues as they arise. Together, we strive to maintain excellence and integrity in all facets of our operations, reinforcing our commitment to quality and safety in Virginia's dynamic environment.
