The Purchasing Administrator in Roanoke is responsible for entering purchasing information into the accounting system, ensuring accurate GL codes, project numbers, and sales tax percentages. They also verify proper approvals, prepare and submit orders to vendors, and receive order confirmations. Additionally, they research and resolve invoice/PO discrepancies, coordinate returns/credit memos, and assist with processing vendor returns by adjusting purchase orders as required. This role requires self-management of assigned workload and completion of other responsibilities as assigned.
