What will you do as a System Administrator at our IES Communications' South Hill Branch?
Our branch in South Hill is currently offering two job positions: Junior System Administrator and System Administrator. The Junior System Administrator will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining computers, networks, and related hardware and software. They will also assist IT Technicians in preparing devices for end users and provide first and second level telephone support and problem resolution. Additionally, they will identify and resolve computer system malfunctions, perform diagnostics of system issues, and provide remote IT support. The hardware supported will include Dell and Cisco servers, Lenovo and Dell desktops and laptops, Canon printers, various copiers, and Cisco network equipment. On the other hand, the System Administrator will ensure that company standards, policies, and procedures are being followed. They will also be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining computers, networks, and related hardware and software. They will provide second and third level telephone support and problem resolution, perform diagnostics of network issues, and provide remote IT support. The hardware supported will include Lenovo servers, Lenovo and Dell desktops and laptops, HP printers, various copiers, and various network equipment. Both positions will assist the IT team in server maintenance and have other responsibilities as assigned.
