They also assist IT Technicians in preparing devices for end users and provide first and second level telephone support and problem resolution. Additionally, they identify and resolve computer system malfunctions and operations problems, perform diagnostics of systems issues, and provide support to the IT team. They also provide remote IT support with remote control software and maintain server and endpoint protection, backups, updates, and other maintenance. Other responsibilities include participating and contributing to IT related projects when necessary, configuring servers for new deployments per direction of senior staff, and assisting with the administration and maintenance of IP based telephony systems.
