As employees at our branch in Des Moines, our Payroll Compliance Analyst and Auditor are responsible for reviewing time and attendance reports on a daily basis to identify errors and exceptions to policy. They also conduct reviews of lunch/break penalty hours, project coding, labor hour allocation, and project coding compliance. They work closely with managers to ensure that identified errors are corrected and promote a culture of adherence to time and attendance policies. Additionally, they maintain progress reports, provide recurring reporting to company leadership, and collaborate with multiple departments and team members to ensure program success. Meanwhile, our Senior Payroll Specialist handles the data entry for multi-state payroll for over 2500 employees, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal laws. They also address employee and business partner queries related to HR, finance, and tax issues. They analyze and process off-cycle pay, special payments, adjustments, and reversals, as well as perform manual garnishment calculations and maintenance. They compile and distribute Certified Payroll reporting and assist with monthly journal entries and month-end analysis. Both roles also involve other assigned responsibilities.
