The Project Controller in our Seattle branch is responsible for assisting project managers in budget development and chart of accounts creation for each project. They track job costs from start to completion and forecast total billing costs for both project managers and clients. They ensure contract compliance, resolve open items with customers, and efficiently close out projects. The Project Controller also works closely with timekeepers, payroll, and other project controls employees, requiring the ability to read and understand project schedules and logic. Experience with MS Project or P6 Primavera and knowledge of cost and resource loaded project schedules are beneficial. Additionally, the Project Controller may be assigned other duties by their manager.
