What will you do as a Survey at our IES Communications' Seattle Branch?
Our branch in Seattle is currently seeking a Site Survey Technician who will be responsible for ensuring accurate and thorough end-user data collection. Working closely with the project manager, the technician will follow the migration schedule and lead kick-off meetings with various locations to explain the data collection and requirements process. Onsite assessments of physical locations will be conducted, and the gathered data will be entered into the site survey document and updated on the web-based company site survey tool. Additionally, the technician will gather wiring information, network device configurations, and circuit details, as well as review and modify submitted spreadsheets to fill any information gaps. They will also be responsible for ensuring timely completion and updating of all site surveys and may need to collect additional data for proper provisioning. Participation in all project phases, including site surveys, pre-migration work, and migrations, is expected.
