They work closely with the Project Manager and team members to effectively cooperate and communicate throughout the project lifecycle. Their responsibilities include preparing, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring weekly updates, as well as managing workload distribution and monitoring customer delivery and job installation progress. They also review and upload test results with the Testing Administrator on a daily basis, and physically measure rooms to ensure they adhere to specifications for generating accurate as-builds. Additionally, Project Coordinators handle various project engineering tasks tied to schedule maintenance, such as change order management, subcontractor coordination, and schedule updates. They are adept at preserving confidential information, solving problems independently, and multitasking with little or no supervision. They assist the program accounting department by spot-checking labor, material, other-expenses, and subcontractor costs that contribute to monthly program reports. Furthermore, they analyze cost and resource graphs to verify schedule progress and identify any issues that may arise. They interact and track program-level billing, reporting, and metrics, including SPI's, KPI's, and CPM. Proficient in creating, correcting, and revising complex Excel spreadsheets, tables, charts, and graphs, Project Coordinators also perform reporting audits to ensure accuracy and timely delivery of safety reports, QA assessments, and labor forecasts. They maintain program-level dashboards, input data, and collect necessary information to provide the Project Manager with all the elements required to issue weekly and monthly reports. As requested, they may also undertake periodic changes in their duties and actively participate in project closeout activities.
