What will you do as a Data Center Technician at our IES Communications' Tacoma Branch?

At Level I and II, technicians are hands-on with scheduled Moves/Adds/Changes (MACs), hardware installations, and ensuring compliance with site security protocols, including detailed record-keeping and asset management. They provide smart-hands assistance within specified SLA response times, often on-call, to support multiple customers across different sites. As expertise deepens at Level III and into the Lead Technician role, responsibilities expand to include advanced troubleshooting, coordination of equipment installation, and direct contributions to process improvements. Across all levels, our team is committed to maintaining a safe, secure, and efficient operating environment, adhering to industry standards and best practices while supporting the infrastructure critical to our operations in Tacoma.
