Testing and troubleshooting using advanced equipment like OTDR and Fluke DTX 180, as well as performing both mechanical and fusion splicing, are integral parts of these roles. The Lead Technician, in addition, takes on supervisory duties, ensuring team performance, safety, and quality compliance while coordinating with Project Managers to meet project objectives efficiently.
